Early Morning Care & Extended Day Program

Ages 18 months to 6 years
Monday through Friday — 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The children enrolled in our Early Morning Care start their day in Classroom 1, where there are a wide variety of activities available. At 8:30 a.m., they move on to their Toddler or Early Childhood classroom. Following lunch, the children under the age of five have a rest time, while the Kindergarten children continue working in the classrooms.

During the hours from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the children in the Extended Day Program join our "Cascades Club" where they will work in a classroom with standard Montessori materials as well as additional activities and materials appropriate for the Extended Day children. The afternoon hours always include outside playtime (weather permitting) and additional planned activities, such as yoga, arts & crafts, cooking and gardening. Snacks are provided both in the early morning hours and in the afternoon.
