Spanish Program

The Spanish program at MCHL incorporates a variety of methods to help the children understand and speak Spanish.

Methods include: games, songs, rhymes, stories, interactive play and movement focusing on issues that are age relevant, pertaining to every day situations. For example, greetings, weather, seasons and days of the week, animals, foods, parts of the body, colors, etc.

These same methods are also used to teach the children about customs in Spanish-speaking countries.

Mrs. Luz Gomez is the Spanish teacher at MCHL. Mrs. Lia Revollo, Mrs. Marilyn Perez and Mrs. Elena Eveler are Extended Day teachers who contribute to the ongoing Spanish education of the children at MCHL.
