PAST PTA ACTIVITIES

The MCHL PTA sponsors many activities throughout the year. Here are some things we have done in the past:

Social

  • Parties (International Fair and Mardi Gras Party)
    A celebration with music, dancing, games, and food.
  • Pumpkin Patch on the playground
    Your child chooses their very own pumpkin to take home.
  • Breakfast for Dinner at IHOP
  • Teacher Appreciation Week
  • End-of-Year Picnic

Parent Education Night

  • Child Safety
    Learn how to discuss stranger safety with your children.
  • Beyond MCHL Panel Discussion
    Discuss with MCHL teachers and parents how to transition from a Montessori environment and choose the right elementary school for your child.
  • Healthy Eating
    Inova Partnership for Healthier Kids offers tips and suggestions on how to introduce fruits, vegetables, and other healthy foods to picky eaters.
