Inclement Weather Policy

MCHL follows the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) system regarding school closings on inclement weather days.

• When LCPS are closed, MCHL will also close.
  
• When LCPS are open one hour late, MCHL will open at 8:30 a.m.
  
• When LCPS are open two hours late, MCHL will open at 8:30 a.m.
  
  

If, during the course of the day, roads are expected to become extremely hazardous, or if LCPS close early due to inclement weather conditions, MCHL may close early. Please call us or visit our website to find out the time of closing. MCHL will make every attempt to reach you should an early closing be anticipated.

MCHL will always remain open until all children have been safely picked up.
