Weeks 1 & 2 – “Little Chefs”
Our budding chefs will learn to make fun recipes while gaining healthy eating habits. Age appropriate culinary skills and basic nutrition will be incorporated each day in an atmosphere conducive for even our pickiest eaters to taste something they made themselves!
Week 3 – “Happy Birthday USA”
Flags, songs, games and glittery art projects will fill the halls of MCHL as the children learn about the fun traditions that are part of the July 4th holiday.
Weeks 4 & 5 – “Ocean Exploration”
Join us for an adventurous journey of hands-on activities, crafts and fun as we explore life between the tides with a series of ocean themed activities…No ocean required. We will learn how incredible creatures like crabs, star fish, whales and did we mention SHARKS adapt to life in the sea. Whether you are planning a trip to the beach or not this summer, learning about the ocean can be fun for kids of all ages.
Weeks 6 & 7 – “Bugs and Insects”
Young bug enthusiasts can satisfy their curiosity about insects. Some of the topics covered are types of insects, insect identification, habitats and human-insect interactions. Other activities include playing insect related games and making crafts.
Weeks 8 & 9 – “STEAM @ MCHL”
This combo camp will feature exciting Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math activities to spark the imagination of our students to insure they will be entertained, engaged and having fun all day!
