Hola. Nǐ hǎo. Namaste.
Music, yoga, Spanish and Mandarin are part of the school day at Montessori Children’s House of Loudoun — with movement and computer class for our kindergartners.

Spanish
Children ages 3–9 attend weekly Spanish through games, puzzles, songs, stories and puppets: numbers to 20, colours, farm animals, the body, clothing, food, shapes, seasons.
In Kindergarten, Spanish is twice a week — grammar and phonetics, their own books, board games in Spanish and projects to take home.
Mandarin
Once a week for students three and older who wish to participate — introduced in an informal, conversational way that is natural for language development.
Yoga
Kindergarten and Early Childhood children enjoy yoga once a week: strength, flexibility, coordination and balance — and better focus and concentration.
Music
Our music teacher works with every age group — instruments, rhythm games and song. Parents of children three and up are invited to the winter and spring performances.
Movement
Kindergartners have movement one afternoon a week: strong muscles and bones, and group games that build cooperation.
Computer class
Weekly for Kindergarten: confidence with a Chromebook and mouse, and composing a simple sentence with an image to match.
